Mohali, October 23, 2018: On concluding day of three days Youth Fest at Gian Jyoti Institute of Management & Technology, Phase -2 Mohali. The students from various institutes casted magical spells on the audience with a wide array of folk and classical music and dance performances. Dressed up in traditional attire depicting cultures of different states, the students presented folk songs & Dances of various states of India. Every performance was perfect example of vast Indian cultural heritage. Swayed by the beat of dhol and other folk instruments the audience tapped their feet to the perfection.

They exhibited a combination of talent and creativity. The distinguished and ancient culture of Punjab was well portrayed by the participants through Giddha. Dr.NP Singh Dean Planning and External Programs PTU was Chief Guest of the Day.

The winner of western Group Song and western solo was Indo Global College of engineering whereas in Giddha CGC Landran Girls take first postion. While overall trophy goes to Amar Shaheed Baba ajit Singh Jujhar Singh Memorial College Bela.

J.S.Bedi, Chairman, Gian Jyoti Group expressed his exhilaration and his profound joy at the assemblage of such a vast pool of talent in the state who displayed extraordinary spirit in the entire event. He congratulated the winners as well as all the participants for putting up such a good show in good faith and right spirit where competing is more important than winning or losing and represents a learning workshop.

Dr. Aneet Bedi, Director, GJIMT thanked the participating colleges across Punjab. She also expressed her good wishes to all the winning teams and inspired them to learn and achieve more. She also stressed that education remains incomplete in the absence of extra-curricular activities since the same lend a balance to one’s personality.
