Team from Infosys Ltd, Chandigarh wins the Chandigarh edition of Tata Crucible Corporate Quiz 2018

Chandigarh, September 24, 2018: Manu Chugh and Deepak Jain from Infosys Ltd, Chandigarh defeated their opponents in a closely fought finals to emerge as the winners of the Chandigarh edition of the Tata Crucible Corporate Quiz 2018.

33 teams battled it out in the city level finale for the top honours, held at Taj Chandigarh today. Manu Chugh and Deepak Jain took home a cash prize of Rs. 75,000* and will compete in the zonal round to qualify for the national finale. Shubham Singh Tomar and Devwrat Dube, from Ignored Learning Solutions LLP, were declared runners-up, winning a cash prize of Rs. 35,000*. Shri Sanjeev Kalra, IPS, Additional Director General of Punjab Police / Welfare, Chandigarh, was the Chief Guest at the finale.

Celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Tata Group, the theme of the quiz this year is 150 Years of Business. Known for its exciting and novel formats, the quiz is open for participants from both Tata and non-Tata corporates and start-ups.

The quiz is being conducted by renowned quizmaster Giri Balasubramaniam, also known as ‘Pickbrain’, who has been conducting the quiz since its inception in 2004.

The 15th edition of India’s biggest corporate quiz will run for a little over two months, traversing 25 cities, with four zonal rounds leading to the national finale to be held in Mumbai. The national winners will receive a Grand Prize of Rs. 5,00,000/-* along with the coveted Tata Crucible trophy.
