Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah- Popatlal (Shyam Pathak), speaks

1) How does it feel to be a part of SAB tv's Taarak mehta ka ooltah chashma ?
Needless to say fortunate, because I joined the show almost a year after it started, I joined in 2009. Then onwards its been an amazing journey. I have been in this profession for a very long time and have worked for a couple of shows before Taarak Mehta Ka ooltah Chashmah when I started working here and over the years I have realized that this has been the best thing that has ever happened to each and everybody associated with this show. Not only actors but even technicians.
2) How excited are you on the completion of 2000 episodes?
It’s again like a dream come true even when I joined the show it has completed less then 100 episodes. No one had ever imagined that it would complete 2000 episodes. But now when we are seeing this day we wish it goes on and on and it really feels great to be a part of a show that has completed 2000 episodes.
3) How has your experience been shooting with all the co actors?
It’s a lot of learning from each other. Because each and every one of us comes from different backgrounds and different schools of acting. I was doing serious theatre before I joined this show. On a daily basis when you work with your colleagues you get to learn a lot of things. We all learn from each other. It’s been really very nice, there are no problems here and everyone gives eachother their space. Everyone knows their own strength and limitations and everyone works together. It is all about team work and it gives better results.
4) You have been with the show since its inception
I personally enjoy all the episodes. I liked the one with Popatlal’s marriage with Bulbul and the other one where Popatlal decides to leave Gokuldham society
5) Your message to the fans on the occasion of completing 2000 episodes
