Ludhiana, July 27, 2018: Successful kidney transplantation offers the best possible quality of life for patients with end stage renal disease (ESRD), said Dr Ravi Angral, who recently joined DMCH as Senior Kidney Transplant Surgeon. Despite this, rate of renal transplantation surgery in the developing country is far less than in the developed nations, said Dr Angral.

Department of Transplant Surgery in DMCH has a comprehensive renal transplant program, having performed both living donor kidney transplant and cadaveric (brain dead) transplants.
