SOI challenges Congress, Bains brothers to list development projects

Ludhiana, May 16 2016: Continuing the drive to propagate the development works and welfare schemes started by Punjab government, the Student Organisation of India (SOi) wing of Shiromani Akali Dal president Meetpal Singh Dugri challenged opposition party Congress and Independent MLA Bains brothers to list development projects started in their constituencies.

The SOI volunteers made human Chain outside Verka milk plant on Ferozepur road and distributed pamphlets describing development works done by Punjab government in last nine years.

Speaking on the Occasion, Director Youth Development Board and SOI Zonal President Meetpal Singh Dugri asked Congress and Independent MLA Bains brothers to list the development projects started in their constituencies.

Meetpal Singh Dugri said that the CLP leader Channi has failed to answer the queries of Deputy CM Sukhbir Singh Badal on development issues in Vidhan Sabha.
In Atam Nagar and Ludhiana South Constituencies represented by Simarjit Bains and Balwinder Bains, not even a single development project was started. The MLA brothers failed to deliver for the people and now gaining publicity by staging protests to divert the attention of people.

Meetpal Singh Dugri said that Punjab government has developed better road infrastructure, sanctioned more than one lakh jobs for Youth, boost in Solar energy, surplus electricity and many others. In 2017 elections the Akali Dal will seek the mandate of people by showing them development works.
