Shockwave in Khanna Area with death of Jagteshwar Singh Talwandi

Khanna, March 12, 2015: Shockwave swept the Khanna area when the news of the death of Jagteshwar Singh Talwandi son of Halka Incharge  Khanna Akali Dal and Former MLA Ranjit Singh Talwandi spread in the area. A number of prominent persons of the area reached Chandigarh to know about the matter.

As per information Jagteshwar Singh was studying in DAV College Chandigarh. Today in the wee hours he left towards Panchkula in a Skoda Car with one of his friend Anmol. When they reached near Panchkula Toll Plaza suddenly their car collided with one of the pillars of Toll Plaza and the car was damaged badly. The accident was so fierce that Anmol died on the spot and Jagteshwar was rushed to PGI in serious condition but he also died at PGI. Inderpal Singh PA to Ranjit Singh Talwandi gave information that Anmol was driving the car and Jagteshwar was sitting with him. He further said that the cremation of Jagteshwar will take place tomorrow at Village Talwandi at 11 AM the native village of Talwandi.

Ranjit Singh Talwandi was having a son Jagteshwar and a daughter. Jagteshwar was younger than his sister and was studying at DAV College Chandigarh. 

Later in the evening the body of Jagteshwar was taken to Panchkula where his postmortem was conducted. Till the filing of this report Ranjit Singh Talwandi and other mourners had left for Talwandi with the body of Jagteshwar where he will be cremated tomorrow at 11 AM. 

It is mentioned here that Jagdev Singh Talwandi Former President of Akali Dal and Former President of SGPC the father of Ranjit Singh Talwandi had died some months ago and now Ranjit Singh Talwandi had lost his son in an accident sending his family in a great shock.
