Shivani Badoni aka Funty will marry only after her father’s approval

Sony SAB’s latest offering ‘Baavle Utaavle’ features the very adorable Shivani Badoni, in the lead role, as Funty. Funty is a young girl who is very eager to find her soulmate and get married. The twist arises when she eventually meets a guy, Guddu (Paras Arora), under a suhaagraat bed. When asked about her plans of getting married in real life, Shivani claimed of having no plans in the near future. She gives utmost priority to her career currently and would love to explore as many avenues as possible. She is very close to her parents who have always empowered her to achieve success in life. Sharing about whether she prefers a love marriage or an arranged one, Shivani said, “I don’t mind either love or arranged marriage as long as my father approves it. After all, marriage is not just a bond between two individuals but also between two families. I am very close to my family and thus, having my father’s approval in such things is of great importance to me. My family has always supported my decisions pertaining to my personal as well as professional life and I am sure they will always continue to do so. However, if my father disagrees for the guy I love, I would try my best to convince him and only then get married.” Baavle Utaavle is based on the thinking of people from small towns of Madhya Pradesh and highlights the curiosity among young adults.
