Party Patron and Chief Minister Punjab Parkash Singh Badal and party President and Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal heading a meeting at party head office to kick off election campaign for Patiala by-election.

Chandigarh, July 28, 2014: Shiromani Akali Dal today kicks off elections campaign for Patiala by-poll in a party meeting held here at party head office under the leadership of Party Patron and Chief Minister Punjab Parkash Singh Badal and party President and Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal.

In this meeting attended by senior party leaders from Patiala, Fatehgarh Sahib, Mohali, Ropar, Ludhiana, Nawan Shehar,  Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur and Kapurthala, party pledged to insure historic victory of party candidate and noted philanthropist Bhagwan Dass Juneja in the Patiala by-poll.

During the meeting, Sukhbir Singh Badal assigned the campaign responsibilities to party leaders and workers, and chalk out plans to reach each and every voter of these constituencies, whereas, Parkash Singh Badal suggested a comprehensive action plan to create awareness among voters about pro people policies of Shiromani Akali Dal–BJP government.

As party leadership honored Bhagwan Dass Juneja with ‘Siropas’ the conference hall of party head office echoed with the slogans of ‘Bole So Nihal, Sat Sri Akal’ and ‘Shiromani Akali Dal Zindabad’. Meanwhile, Party Patron and Party President also instructed party leaders to strictly follow election code of conduct and to run a quality not quantity election campaign in a disciplined way without giving anybody a chance to raise finger on any of its leader or worker.
