Ludhiana, February 19, 2017: The 3rd day of the GMMSA EXPO INDIA- 2017 witnessed a large number of visitors. People from different parts of the country visited the exhibition, organised by Garments Machinery Manufacturers & Suppliers Association (GMMSA) (Regd.) at Dana Mandi, Bahadurke Road in Ludhiana from 17th February to 20th February, to get a glimpse of the latest technology that is available in the market.

With the increasing need to preserve resources inventors are striving to make machines more effective. Delivering effective production and to minimise wastage is the order of the day. Saving water and electricity is a challenge that all inventors face. However, it is only the love for the environment that helps them work towards inventing technologies that work for general betterment.

Mr. Gurmeet Singh Kular, President of Federation of Industrial and Commercial Organisation (FICO) and State Head of Integrated Small and Medium Enterprises (ISME) of India was the guest of honour on the 3rd day of the exhibition.

Mr. Jatinder Sudera of PK International said, "We have double and single open width circulating machines, single jacquard machines and 3-way knitting machines on display and they are high-speed and have a greater output than others. When you have better performing machines, they save energy, time and money."

Mr. Pankaj Kalra of Retech International said, "In India garment manufacturers are looking for heavy duty machines that will do the kind of work that they want done. We have on display 66 inch machines and multi-gauge machines. These machines are among the top machines that are available in the country and they are high-speed."

Mr. Sukhwinder Singh of Guruson International said "Our R&D team is always looking forward to save resources in whatever way they can. Our machines save about 700 liters of water on one cycle. That means over a year you may save crores of liters of water, thus preserving the environment. Further we are looking to make machines that not only save water, but also save electricity as well."

Mr. Rotesh Sharma of MH International said, "Everyone is looking for something that does the most work, with the least effort. We have on display here the only convertible machine. This machine is fully computerised with auto stripper with jacquard with 3-way technique. It does the work of three machines. These machines are high end machines and can give you every possible form of knitting.”
