It is a moment of immense pride that the prestigious Saraswati Samman has been conferred upon Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi during the International Arya Mahasabha held in New Delhi. The honour was bestowed upon Prof. Dwivedi by eminent academicians, philosophers, and intellectuals during the International Vedic Research Conference on the theme “The Contribution of the Rishi Tradition in the Reconstruction of Golden India.” The conference was graced by the Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the Chief Guest.

Prof. Dwivedi received the Saraswati Samman in recognition of her tireless and dedicated service of over four decades to the cause of higher education—particularly her outstanding contributions toward the education, empowerment, and emancipation of women.
A Harvard alumna, Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi is an internationally acclaimed educationist whose visionary and progressive outlook has greatly contributed to the advancement and holistic development of youth. Through her innovative policies and strategies, she has paved new pathways for providing value-based education aligned with global trends, fostering self-reliance and excellence among students.
Her illustrious career has been marked by numerous national and international honours, including the Best Research Content Award by Harvard University (USA), the Rajiv Gandhi Education Excellence Award (New Delhi), the Indo-Nepal Shiromani Award for outstanding achievements in the field of education (Nepal), and the Achiever of the Millennium Award presented during the International Achievers Conference held in Bangkok, Thailand.
It is also a matter of great honour that Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) was among the collaborators of this significant international conference, which brought together distinguished scholars, academicians, and researchers from across the globe. Over 1,500 research papers were presented during the three-day event, which also witnessed the participation of top leaders and heads of various religions.
