ROADIES X: MTV’s Raghu reveals Roadies X theme song on 92.7 BIG FM

Roadies X auditions kick off in Chandigarh on 17th November – but 92.7 BIG FM has an exclusive insight, as radio partners, into what’s coming on the show.

A little known fact about the show which Raghu revealed to 92.7 BIG FM’s RJ Pankaj is that he has been a big part in designing Roadies’ theme song for the 10th season. Raghu said, “I have written the song for Roadies this year and even sung a part of it. The song is called Naye Raaste. Parents these days want their children to be safe and successful – but stick to the conventional professions. The song addresses the attitude of the youth towards their parents’ expectations.”

Further revealing the lyrics of the show, Raghu recited the lines, “Nakshe kadmo pe chalna, bechara khwab hai; Seedhi sadko pe rehna, aadat kharab hai; Duniya anjaan yeh, kora kaagaz dikhe; Paaon ke kalam se naye raaste likhe; Apna to yehi hisaab hai.”

Every year, the show travels to international destinations with the contestants. However, the 10th season which will be a competition between the old and the new will be very different. VJ Ranvijay, who was the winner of the first season of the show further revealed, “The Roadies will go to North-east India this year.”

And what else is coming up for this actor? Ranvijay reveals that he will be shooting for Punjabi movie in February 2013 once shooting for the Roadies is over.

Raghu Ram, the producer of MTV Hero Roadies says, “This year, Roadies completes a decade as the definitive reality show for the youth of India.  The participants are expected to be of 18 years and above, who have a valid two wheeler license.
