Chandigarh, July 2, 2014: The Punjab Government has relieved Ramesh Inder Singh, IAS (Retd.), Chief Information Commissioner, Punjab from his duties w.e.f June 28, 2014 (After Noon) on completion of his five year term.
Disclosing this here today, a spokesperson of Punjab Government said that R.I. Singh has completed his five years term, as per Section-16 (1) of the Right to information Act-2005 and notification in this regard has been issued. He said that Mr. Singh relieved from his duties w.e.f. June 28, 2014.
