Chandigarh, March 19, 2015: Punjab Right to Service Commission has taken the initiative to hold Lok Adalats at the district headquarters where large numbers of cases are pending beyond time line.
While disclosing this spokesperson of the Commission said that the Commission had also recommended to the State Government to computerise the data.
He expanded that more than 42 officers/officials have also been penalised who have failed to deliver the notified services without sufficient cause during the year 2014-15. Two applicants have also been compensated out of this penalty amount.
