Chandigarh, November 12, 2013: In a bid to empower the forest and wild life preservation department the Punjab government has decided to recruit 100 Forest Guards.
Disclosing this here today a spokesman of the Punjab government said that this recruitment drive is a part of Greening Punjab Mission under which the forest cover in the state would be enhanced from the existing 7% to 15%.
He further said that eligible candidates can apply online by November 19.He said that the applicant must have passed +2 from any recognized board and equivalent qualification from any recognised university and having passed matriculation with Punjabi subject. He said that for further information one can log in to official website of Subordinate Services Selection Board, Punjab www.punjabsssb.gov.in
