PUNJAB Health Minster gets irk on removal of CM photo from 108 Ambulance

Ferozepur, July 12, 2013: Lashing out at the Centre Health Minister Santosh Chodhary, Madan Mohan Mittal, Punjab Health Minister while addressing the media persons said, the Union minister should restrain from giving statement for removing the photograph of Parkash Singh Badal from 108 Ambulance service rather the minister should stress upon the Centre Government to provide the better health services to the people of Punjab to avail such services to the maximum”.

In reply to the question from the media, Mittal said, “300 doctors have been recruited in the state and shortly their appointment letters will be issued.  In addition, 500 more doctors are being recruited and by creating a separate cadre from Post-Graduate doctors, the expert doctors in particular field shall be sent to the hospitals in the state”.

Mittal said, “About 100 hospitals have been identified where there is a shortage of doctors and office staff and in all these hospitals, the staff will be in position to look after the day today work. The Punjab Government is taking various steps to provide the better health services in the state”.

Later on, Health Minister had also a meeting the health department officers and BJP workers. The health department officers were directed to advertise the various welfare schemes of the Punjab Government and no stone should unturned to implement the same in toto. The minister also advised the officials to organise vasectomy camps to control the population by encouraging the people by oranising programmes and seminars from time to time.

On this occasion, District President Jagraj Singh Katora, D. P. Chandan, Surinder Singh Bagge Ke Pippal, Dr. Y. K. Gupta, Civil Surgeon, Dr. Davinder Bhukkar and in good number of health officials and BJP workers were present.
