Chandigarh, July 18, 2013: Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of former MP Charanjeet Singh Walia (78), who passed away at Patiala this afternoon after a protracted illness.
In a condolence message, the Chief Minister described Walia as a gentle politician, who always played a proactive role in safeguarding the interests of the employees. His outstanding services as an employee leader would ever be remembered by employees’ fraternity.
