Ludhiana, February 19, 2013: The state of Punjab had the honour of having one of its leading heart surgeons being invited to deliver special lectures at the 59th Annual Conference of the Indian Association of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons in Mumbai.

Dr Harinder Singh Bedi – Head of the Cardio Vascular and Thoracic Surgery Department of the Christian Medical College and Hospital Ludhiana - had the distinction of being the only heart surgeon from Punjab to be specially invited to deliver an invited lecture at the conference. The lectures were on beating heart surgery and on surgery for stroke.
