PublicVibe, a Hyper Local Community Platform launched

It urrently has 1 million user base and targeted by 5 million by 2018. The NewsDistill startup already invested Rs 4.25crore that was raised from Angel Investors. And is looking for second round of funding to scaleup its operations and expand to newer markets

Hyderabad, November 8, 2017: NewsDistill Pvt. Ltd, a Hyderabad based Rs 4.25crore Angel funded startup founded by former employees of Yahoo, LinkedIn, Microsoft, Birla Sunlife and Apollo launched PublicVibe, Hyper local community for News, Issues, Experiences and Opinions here in the city today.

NewsDistill Pvt. Ltd, is a news aggregating platform. It is partnered with 300 plus publishers in 9 languages to serve local news.

The newly launched PublicVibe is a platform for location centric news and public voice, declared Narasimha Veeramreddy Co-Founder & CEO of the startup who worked earlier at Yahoo, LinkedIn and Microsoft and worked in the United States for 10 years and moved to India permanently to work on the startup PublicVibe while addressing the press conference in Hyderabad today.

Do you know what is happening around your locality in a real time? Water clogging, open manholes, fallen trees, traffic jams, the accidents you see you can report. You can know Ambulance around your locality. You can ask for blood and know donors in your locality. You can know if any adulterated milk supplied in your area so that you can avoid buying such stuff. You can know incidences of cheating that have happened in your neighborhood. Know of autos without meters. Help others and get helped yourself.

People can share their experiences in Govt. office, hospital, schemes with people around them. Through PublicVibe, people can get connected instantly with fellow citizens in the locality. They can make Announcements, put questions and seek help, just in two clicks and in less than five seconds.

The platform is robust with built in analytics, which we can provide to the government. The predictive analytics will give a peep into future and predict troubles based on the past experiences and incidences.

The platform already has 1 million users across India and expecting to reach 10 million by 2018, Narasimha disclosed.

The founders are in talks with Kerala, AP and Telangana Government for possible collaboration, informed Narasimha.

Government alone can’t solve all problems. Who is the government? Public is the Government and government is the public said Narasimha.
