Chandigarh, June 20, 2016: Panjab University (PU) Vice-Chancellor Prof Arun Kumar Grover has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the sad demise of Smt Shashi Bala Jain, the wife of Shri Satya Pal Jain (PU Fellow), Additional Solicitor General of India and Ex-Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha).
Smt Shashi Bala Jain passed away in the morning today. The cremation was held today at Cremation Ground, Sector 25, Chandigarh. PU VC Prof Arun Grover, Registrar Prof. Col. GS Chadha (retd.) and senior officers of the University paid homage to the departed soul.
In his condolence message, Prof Grover has prayed to the Almighty to give strength to the bereaved family for bearing this huge loss.
