Chandigarh, June 16, 2017: Prof.Upinder Sawhney, Chairperson, Department of Economics, Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh under the MoU signed between the PU and the University of Wurzburg (UW), Germany, will be teaching a course on the 'Development Process of the Indian Economy' at the University of Wurzburg. The MoU between the two universities was an outcome of her visit as a DAAD (German Academic Exchange) Fellow to UW. It is an internationally acclaimed 15th Century University, where 14 Nobel Laureates have taught and researched.
Both graduate and undergraduate students across disciplines have opted for this course.
PU hopes to strengthen the faculty/student exchange with UW in the coming years.'
