PCTE-Business Management Department organised a conclave on Entrepreneurship: Emerging Trends and Challenges

Ludhiana, April 21, 2016: PCTE Institute of Business Management organized a National Conclave on "Entrepreneurship: Emerging Trends and Challenges.” at its campus. The conclave started with the discussion, focusing on the emerging challenges in Entrepreneurship and modern practices and the latest technologies in Entrepreneurship to deal with such challenges.

Mr.Shekhar Singal, Executive Director, Eastman Auto and Power Limited, Mr.Yogesh Kharbanda, Managing Director, Graf Impex Pvt Limited and Mr.Bharat Raina, Principal, Training Institute, PNB were the key note speaker at the Conclave, which opened on an ambitious note, discussing the " Emerging Trends and Challenges”.

Mr. Shekhar Singal on the occasion said, that modern Entrepreneurship functions are now undergoing a lot of change. Today, Entrepreneurship is just not a department but a broad corporate concept. In the era of globalization and digital innovation, the role Entrepreneurship in any organization has become immensely challenging.

Mr. Yogesh Kharbanda said, Entrepreneurship is more than the mere creation of business. Although that is certainly as important facet, it’s not the complete picture. The characteristics of seeking opportunities, taking risks beyond security, and having the tenacity, to push an idea through to reality combine into a special perspective that permeates Entrepreneurs.
Mr. Bharat Raina said, Entrepreneurial firms play a crucial role in the innovations that lead to technological change and productivity growth. Secondly, Entrepreneurial firms are the essential mechanism by which millions enter the economic and social mainstream of Society.

Dr. K N S Kang, Director General, PCTE Group of Institutes congratulated the team of Business Management on successfully organizing the Conclave and said, Entrepreneurship is a dynamic process of vision, change and creation. It requires an application of energy and passion towards the creation and implementation of new ideas and creative solutions.
