PBA announces team to represent National Championship from Sept 1-7

Jalandhar, August 12, 2014: Punjab Badminton Association(PBA) has announced its 10-member team to represent the state in the Sub-Junior National Badminton Championship to be held at Rohtak from September 1 to 7.
According to Rajinder Kalsi, Honorary Secretary of the association, four players Dhruv Kapila, Anuj Gupta, Rhitvik Mohanty and Suryansh Saini will participate in the Boys U-15 category while Jeevesh Khanna and Somin Wason will play U-13 category.
Similarly two players each in the Girls category Simranjit Kaur & Vanshika Tondon and Prerna Dawar & Simranjit Kaurs will play U-15 & U-13 groups.
He said that preparatory coaching camp for the players will be held from August 24-27 at Jalandhar. Gursharan Parshad and Gagan Kapila will accompany the team as Coach and Manager (Boys), respectively. Likewise, Shakuran Begum will take care of the girls team as Manager, he added.
