Oreintation Programme for PG Students being held at PAU, Ludhiana.
Ludhiana, August 14, 2015: The PAU Science Club organised an Orientation Programme for newly admitted postgraduate students of Punjab Agricultural University (PAU). Nearly 560 postgraduate students from constituent colleges of PAU participated in the programme.
Dr Neelam Grewal, Dean, Postgraduate Studies, apprised the students of various opportunities for scholarships and fellowships available both at national and international levels. She advised the postgraduate students to work hard for their PG research and come out with publications of high standard. She also exhorted the students to come forward to join the Students’ Wing of PAU Science Club so as to actively participate in various activities to be organized by the club.
Dr S.S. Kukal, Professor of Soil Conservation and Secretary, PAU Science Club, sensitized the students about the rules and regulations of PG studies. He gave useful tips to the students on the preparation of synopsis and presentation of research work.
