Chandigarh, September 9, 2015: The Punjab Government today issued orders not to grant leave to officers (Group A and B) during the ensuing session of 14th Punjab Vidhan Sabha.
Disclosing this here today a spokesman of the Punjab Government said that government had issued written instructions to all the Department Deads, Divisional Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners and the Registrar of the Punjab and Haryana High Court not to grant leave to officers during the assembly session.
The official spokesman said the department head could sanction leave only in case of leave only in case of an emergency and that too by appointing a substitute.
