New Comers being welcomed at GGNIMT, Ludhiana.
Ludhiana, September 12, 2015: The senior students of Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management & Technology (GGNIMT), Civil Lines organized a Freshers’ Party :Aagman -2015 to welcome the new comers in the institute. The event began with an inspirational talk by Principal Dr. P. S Khattra. He motivated the students to start their journey with a positive attitude and make the best use of the facilities provided by the institute. This was followed by a series of cultural items put up by the seniors . The scintillating dance performances by Manpreet Kaur (BBA 5), Varinder (BCOM 3) and Gagan(BCOM 3) was a great visual delight. The dance by Rahul (BCOM5), Dilpreet (BCOM 5) and Bhavuk (BCOM 1) received many accolades. Kirti Khanna and Simarjeet Kaur from B.SC(Hotel Management) gave an electrifying dance performance. The unique Jugalbandi of a singer (Prabhjot Singh BBA-3),a Guitarist (Gurpreet Singh – BCA 1) and a Tabla Player (Harmeet Singh –BCOM 3) was the star attraction of the day. Gurdev Singh and Amandeep Singh of BSC(HMCT) sang a melodious self composed song. The dance performances by Komal (BCOM 1), Love Arora(BCA 3), Satya(BBA 5), and Shubham (BBA 1) was very well applauded .
The cultural show was followed by a contest for choosing the Mr. & Ms. Fresher. The new comers walked the ramp with stunning attires & accessories and teased their brains to handle the judge’s question round.
Prof. Manjit Singh Chhabra , Co-ordinator , GGNIMT appreciated the students for putting up a great show. He motivated the students to study sincerely and transform their dreams to reality. He inspired the students to be a part of all co-curricular activities for their complete grooming.
