Navroop Kaur of Ramgarhia Girls College Ludhiana who stands first in University Exams.

Ludhiana, April 28, 2015: The students of M.A. Music Vocal (Sem-I and Sem-III) and M.A. Fine Arts (Sem-III) did the college proud by performing exceedingly well in the exams held in December 2014 by Panjab University, Chandigarh. Navroop Kaur of M.A.Music Vocal (Sem-I) bagged the coveted first position in the University by securing 82.5% marks. Mandeep Kaur stood third in the University with 81% marks and Harsimranjeet Singh got eighth position in the University by scoring 77.5% marks. They got first, second and third positions in the College respectively. Anureet Kaur of M.A. Music Vocal (Sem-III) clinched second position in Panjab University and stood first in the College by securing 86% marks. Bhawna Handa got fourth position in the University and stood second in the College with 84.5% marks and Amandeep Kaur bagged seventh position in the University and stood third in the College with 82.5% marks. Harjot Kaur of M.A. Fine Arts clinched fourth position in the University and stood first in the College by scoring 91% marks. Sukhpreet Kaur stood fifth in the University and second in the College with 90.75% marks. Simran Kaur bagged third position in the college with 88% marks.

Principal Dr. Narinder Sandhu congratulated the students on achieving stupendous results and added that it is due to the efforts put in by them and their teachers that they have been able to make their mark at the University level. She appreciated the hard work and dedication with which Charanjit Kaur, Head, Department of Music Vocal and Tarvinder Kaur, Head, Department of Fine Arts and their respective teams chiseled the talent of their students and enabled them to achieve meritorious results in the exams.

Ranjodh Singh, President and Jagtar Singh, General Secretary, Ramgarhia Educational Council, also lauded the excellent performance of the students and averred that hard work put in by the students and the best guidance provided by the teachers always bear fruit.
