According to Dr.G.S Wander - Most of the people are suffering from hypertension. This major issue is increasing day by day because people were not aware with this problem in initial stage. Main cause of this problem, people are becoming irresponsible about their health, food and lifestyle. @ www.cityairnews.com

Ludhiana, October 19, 2014: A mega free heart check up camp was organised by Dayanand Medical College & Hospital , Ludhiana Dr.Mohinder P.Sambhi Hypertension Clinic at DMC Rural Health Centre, Pohir. Dr.G.S Wander Chief Cardiologist HDHI led the team of doctors & technicians which also included attending physician Dr.Rohit Tandon, Dr.Puneet Dhawan & Dr.Ajay Pal.
DMCH Managing Society Prem Kumar Gupta inaugurated the camp. In his message he expressed his pleasure to visit the DMC Rural Health Centre where team of doctors is doing excellent work. The camp was especially organised to give benefit to villagers of Pohir and nearby areas. 350 Patients from more than 15 villages are benefited from this camp. ECG, blood sugar and medicines were distributed to all patients free of cost.
According to Dr.G.S Wander - Most of the people are suffering from hypertension. This major issue is increasing day by day because people were not aware with this problem in initial stage. Main cause of this problem, people are becoming irresponsible about their health, food and lifestyle. Mostly people of general population ignore the chest pain and take pain killers but that could be symptoms of coming heart attack or cardiac disease. So in now lifestyle people should go for routine checkup.
The objective of this special camp was to raise awareness about Hypertension and Heart disease. Highlight that diabetes and high blood pressure are key risk factors for Heart Attack, to encourage people for quiet smoking, limited alcohol and proper exercise and eat healthy food.
