The ‘India Oil and Gas Summit-2015’ being organised by Indian Chamber of Commerce at Hotel Le Meridian, New Delhi on Wednesday. 

Chandigarh, July 15, 2015: The Industries, Commerce and Technical Education Minister,Punjab, Madan Mohan Mittal today made a strong case for strengthening the energy basket by proper utilisation of resources.
Stating this, an official spokesperson said that the Minister was speaking at the ‘India Oil and Gas Summit-2015’ organised by Indian Chamber of Commerce held today at Hotel Le Meridian, New Delhi. The spokesperson further said that the Minister also said that conservation of oil and gas is also very vital for the rapid development of Industrial sector.
Mr. Mittal said that unbridled exploitation of fossil fuel by present generation would put existence of future generations in jeopardy creating global energy crisis. he said that it was imperative for all of us to launch 3 prong strategy including conservation of fossil fuels, focus on non-renewable energy besides accelerating research to go for low energy production devices. He said that all countries must pull their resources for making hydrogen engine affordable to common masses to lower the dependence on fossil fuels.
Stressing upon need for a separate global fund to tackle environmental pollution by vehicular fuels, Mr. Mittal said that we would have to launch a selective war to save humanity from pollution.
According to the spokesperson, Union Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas (Independent Charge) Dharmendra Pradhan also addressed the gathering. A souvenir about the summit was also released on this occasion.
