Mega Education Fair by Guru Kashi University in Mansa

Talwandi Sabo, July 18, 2016: To cater the needs of Mansa Region students Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo organized a Mega Education Fair at Gaushala Bhawan, Mansa. Mr. Varinder Sharma DC (Mansa) Graced the occasion as Chief Guest .
During the Education Fair different Constituent Colleges of GKU exhibited and counsel the students for more than 100 courses in 20-25 streams. Parents and students have shown great interest towards the activity despite of heavy rain in the area and they were more inclined towards the Hotel Management, Law, Agriculture, Paramedical, Engineering, Music, Computer Application, Fashion technology, Education, Veterinary Sciences and other Vocational and certificate courses. Exciting prizes and educational literature was also distributed free among the students, which will be very much helpful to the students during the next stages of the higher studies. An elaborative presentation consisting higher education material also presented by Prof. Sukhdevinder Singh Kaurra (PRO) of Guru Kashi University, which added flavour to the Education Fair. Free refreshment and on the spot counselling sessions were arranged by GKU for students and parents.
Mr. Varinder Sharma (DC, Mansa) highly appreciated the activity by Guru Kashi University, he further advised to carry on such activities on Micro & Macro level which will definitely help the student community of the region.
Management of GKU & Vice Chancellor highly appreciated the efforts of Dr. Amandeep Singh Coordinator of the Education fair, Deans, and Directors of the University and other staff who did praise worthy work during the education fair. Apart from others, Dr. Narinder Singh, Director Finance, Er. Sunny Arora, Dy. Director IT, Mr. Gurdev Singh Kot Fatta, Dr. Bhagwant Singh Chahal, Dr. Ravinder Sumal and other staff members of GKU was present.
