Meeting of UCPMA dispute settlement committee held

Ludhiana, September 11, 2014: A meeting of dispute settlement committee of United Cycle and Parts Manufacturers Association (UCPMA), Ludhiana held today, in which discussion was done for the dispute cases of cycle parts manufacturing members Vs dealers. In this meeting around 100 members were present as most of them where having this problem of payment with the dealers. This meeting was one of the largest and successful meetings ever we had for any other topic. The dealer of outside Punjab who are purchasing the material from Ludhiana manufacturer and not giving the payment on time or payment is stuck there.

In order to solve the Ludhiana cycle industries members’ payment problem this “dispute settlement committee” is formed by UCPMA. Through this committee any party whose payment is stuck outside Punjab will be taken out by doing proper meeting with the party and understanding his problems as while he is not giving the payment.

UCPMA is now taking the dispute of cycle parts manufacturing members in his hand under the guidance of Charanjit Singh Vishivkarma (President). Before giving material to the outside dealer proper verification should be done of those dealers so that payment is not stuck.
