Ludhiana News/ Drivers and conductors of Ludhiana City Bus Service Ltd observe strike

About five dozen outsourced drivers and conductors of Ludhiana City Bus Service Ltd observed strike on Wednesday. As a result, three bus routes- GT Road, Chandigarh Road and Ferozepur Road, were affected in Ludhiana, causing a great inconvenience to commuters. It may be mentioned here that a total 28 out of the 50 low-floor buses did not ply due to the strike. The drivers and conductors allege that the contractors are not releasing their salaries on time.
