LOK SABHA ELECTIONS 2019: 22 CANDIDATES IN FRAY FOR LUDHIANA PARLIAMENTARY CONSTITUENCY
ELECTION SYMBOLS ALLOTTED TO THE CANDIDATES Ludhiana, May 3, 2019: A total of 22 candidates have been left in fray for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections of Ludhiana Parliamentary Constituency-7. On the last day of withdrawal of nominations, i.e. May 2, 2019, candidate Surinder Kaur withdrew her nomination papers. Election symbols have been allotted to the remaining 22 candidates. While providing information about the election symbols, Returning Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana Mr Pradeep Kumar Agrawal stated that Baba Sukhwinder Singh Gill of Nationalist Congress party has been allotted clock, Prof Tej Pal Singh Gill of Aam Aadmi Party has been allotted broom, Maheshinder Singh Grewal of Shiromani Akali Dal has been allotted scales, Ravneet Singh Bittu of Indian National Congress has been allotted hand, Baba Amarjit Singh Khalsa of Bharatiya Lok Seva Dal has been allotted telephone, Simarjeet Singh Bains of Lok Insaaf Party has been allotted Letter Box, Darshan Singh Daba of Jai Jawan Jai Kisan Party has been allotted shoe, Daljit Singh of People's Party of India (Secular) has been allotted bread, Devinder Bhagria of Hindustan Shakti Sena has been allotted diamond, Dildar Singh of Ambedkarite Party of India has been allotted coat, Pardeep Bawa of Samaj Adhikar Kalyan Party has been allotted balloon, Dr Brijesh Kumar Bangar of People's Party of India (Democratic) has been allotted basket containing fruits, Baljit Singh of Bharat Prabhat Party has been allotted Ludo, Baldev Raj Katna of Nationalist Justice Party has been allotted ship, Bintu Kumar Taank of Ambedkar National Congress has been allotted gramophone, Mohd. Nadeem Ansari of Rashtriya Sahara Party has been allotted cup and saucer, Rajinder Ghai of Hindu Samaj Party has been allotted tractor chalata kisan, Ram Singh Deapak of Bahujan Mukti Party has been allotted cot as an election symbol. Similarly, independent candidates namely Jasdeep Singh Sodhi has been allotted battery torch, Jai Parkash Jain has been allotted gas cylinder, Mohinder Singh has been allotted football and Ravinder Pal Singh has been allotted key as election symbol. Pradeep Kumar Agrawal informed that the polling in district would be held from 7 am to 6 pm on May 19, 2019.
