Labour Day Celebration at Cambridge International School For Girls

Jalandhar, May 1, 2016: Labour Day was celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm at Cambridge International School for Girls, Urban Estate, Phase-II, Jalandhar. The purpose of celebrating this day was to make the supporting staff feel special and to thank them in a very unique manner. The whole staff was involved in the preparation of the celebration.

A cricket match was organized for the school bus drivers and conductors in which male members of teaching staff also participated with full enthusiasm. Staff members enjoyed this match by encouraging the players. After this eventful match there was a cultural programme by female support staff. They presented a colourful dance on popular dance beats which was followed by a solo dance .

Teachers also participated in this event in different ways. Some teachers sang motivational songs to applaud the service of the supporting staff and were appreciated by all. Celebrations were concluded by a tea party in which snacks were prepared by the teachers .
It was a small gesture to thank for all the support and help given by support staff throughout the year.

Kohli, LWES Mr. Nitin Kohli , LWES Chief Education Officer Ms. Deepa Dogra, Chief Operating Officer LWES Mr Stuart Dennis, Directors of Education LWES Ms. Kiranjot Dhillon, Ms. Meenu Huria, Ms Preeti Sharma and Principal CIS, Chotti Baradari, Jalandhar Mr Manoj Kumar Agnihotri congratulated the students and the staff on this auspicious occasion for making this event a great success.

The dignitaries appreciated the support staff for their untiring service and indispensible participation in the smooth functioning of the school.
