Kolkata girl Rupsa wins audiences hearts – finds herself a patron in the kind hearted Delhi-ite
Sony Entertainment Television’s kid's dance reality show Super Dancer Chapter 3’s contestant Rupsa Batabyal from Kolkata is leaving no stone unturned to impress the audience with her power packed grooves and moves. With every performance the adorable little girl is collecting a lot of praises from the judges – Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Anurag Basu and Geeta Kapoor followed by her fans. The 6-year-old contestant along with her Guru Nishant have consistently set the stage on fire week on week with their performance. While the super talented kid is receiving immense appreciation across the country, she recently came to understand why Delhi is known as a ‘Dil-wallon-ka-shehar’. One of the Director of Step Industries Pvt. Ltd - Mr. Sunil Tayal who is a huge fan of the Rupsa, was on the set recently and watched her performance which just melted his heart. Touched by the immense struggle of her parents, Mr. Tayal showed his support towards this young child by offering to sponsor not just her education but also her dance training. In the conversation, Mr. Tayal confirmed, "My family and I enjoy watching the show together. We are always excited to see what Rupsa is going to perform every weekend. While the little girl is immensely talented and has a great future in front of her, I also realized that she needs financial security. I don’t want her to compromise on her talent or education to miss out on opportunities that can take her places. I have always believed that if one has the means to help someone in need, you should go ahead and do it. I want to sponsor Rupsa’s studies, dance training and if I get an opportunity, settle her well and do her kanyadan.” Adding to the conversation, he shared that he finds an amusing connection with Rupsa as she resembles his grandchildren. Furthermore, he stated that his daughter-in-law and Rupsa’s mother share the same name - ‘Shivani.’
