KMV Students Participate in Internship Programme in Punjab National Bank (KMV Branch)

Jalandhar, October 4, 2018: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage and Autonomous Institution, Jalandhar has always been taking initiatives for the growth and development of its students. Keeping with this trend, P.G.Department of Commerce & Business Administration has organized an internship programme in Punjab National Bank, KMV Branch for the students of B.Com (Regular) Semester I and B.Com (Hons.) Semester I. The main objective of organizing this programme is to provide practical exposure to the students regarding the working of banks and managing banking operations. During the internship, students are given the practical training of filling up the various banking documents which are used in day to day life. The practical demonstration of ATM has also been given by the bank staff and the students are made aware regarding the usage of ATM. Bank staff also acquainted them with different rules and regulations to be followed while making online payments. Dr. Neeraj Maini, Head, P.G. Department of Commerce expressed her gratitude towards the banking staff for providing their valuable time and clearing the queries of students in a very interactive and friendly manner.
Principal, Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi appreciated the persistent efforts made by the commerce faculty in supplementing the theoretical knowledge of students with practical exposure.
