KMV, Jalandhar on Tuesday organising an Extension Lecture on Challenges and Prospects of Print Media.
Jalandhar, November 24, 2015: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya-The Heritage Institution, Jalandhar’s Department of Journalism and Mass Communication organised an extension lecture on “Challenges and Prospects of Print Media.” The guest speaker on the occasion was Mr.Manoj Tripathi, Senior Chief Reporter, from a renowned newspaper. The erudite speaker stressed on the advantages of print media and stated that online media is posing a challenge to print media but at the same time it is resulting in the further development of the analytical ability of print media. Mr.Tripathi said that the virtues of fearlessness, discipline and credibility are essential to become a successful media professional. The Principal of KMV Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi lauded the efforts of the Dept. of Journalism and Mass Communication for organising this lecture. Madam Principal stated that Indian media is progressing at a fast pace and so it is very necessary for the students of Journalism and Mass Communication to understand its needs and requirements to become successful media professionals in future.
