Jalandhar, August 6, 2026: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) faculty member Ms. Spardha Jasra, PG Department of Fine Arts has received Copyright Registration for her original painting inspired by the magnificent Lakshmi Narayan Temple, Tamil Nadu. 
Created using natural colours, the monochromatic artwork beautifully portrays the temple’s intricate carvings, sacred architecture, and the divine presence of Lord Lakshmi Narayan, reflecting India’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage through a unique artistic perspective. The copyright registration officially recognises the painting as an original intellectual creation and provides legal protection against unauthorised reproduction or commercial use. By combining traditional temple art with eco-friendly natural pigments, the artwork promotes both India’s artistic legacy and sustainable creative practices. This achievement has been widely appreciated by the academic and artistic community, inspiring young artists to preserve cultural heritage while embracing originality, innovation, and intellectual property rights. 
Congratulating her on this wonderful achievement, Director Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that with the progressive education in Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, the students and teachers always get the enthusiasm to move forward in their respective fields, as a result of which such positive results emerge. Along with this, she also acquainted that even before this, Fashion Designing Department, Science Department, Computer Science Department etc. of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya have also obtained IPR from the Government of India for their special works.
