Chandigarh, November 5, 2026: Boys’ Hostel No. 3, Panjab University, Chandigarh, celebrated Diwali by distributing sweets among hostel residents, staff members and mess and canteen workers.
The initiative acknowledged the contribution of support staff towards the day-to-day functioning of the hostel. As part of the celebrations, Warden Dr Sucha Singh, along with hostel staff and residents, pledged to celebrate a Green Diwali to minimise environmental impact and promote responsible festivities.
