KMV Dept. of Fine Arts Organises Workshop on Water Colours

Jalandhar, April 21, 2016: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar’s Department of Fine Arts organised a one-day workshop on Water Colours Applications. The ‘Father of Water Colour applications in Punjab Mr.Rakesh Chander along with Shri Ashwani Verma and Sri Naveen Kumar participated in the workshop. The much awarded, talented and experienced resource persons elaborated on the unending and diverse applications of water colours in the field of painting and other forms of fine arts. He said that he considered these applications and practices as a form of meditation, self expression, mental relaxation and satisfaction. He made impressive paintings within minutes. The audience was full of appreciation for the exhibition of this live art - practices. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi appreciated the efforts of the dept. of Fine Arts for having organised such a fruitful workshop. She congratulated Mr. Yogeshwar Hans and Ms Rekha Sharma from the Dept. of Fine Arts and also appreciated the spirit to learn exhibited by the students of the dept. of Fine Arts.
