KMV, Jalandhar's B.Sc. Non-Med. Student who stood 2nd in GNDU Exam, being felicitated.
Jalandhar, April 7, 2015: Amanjot of P.G Department of Physics and student of B.Sc Non-Medical with Electronics (Semester-III) were placed 2nd in the recently declared results of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. She scored 349/ 400 marks. Kanya Maha Vidyalaya is the only college under Guru Nanak Dev University that is offering B.Sc. with Electronics. In the present scenario where men is using uncountable electronic gadgets to facilitate daily activities, these students who graduate with electronics as one of the subjects widen the scope of placement manifolds as compared to other science graduates. They get good placements with electronics industries and mobile manufacturing units.
Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma congratulated Amanjot on her excellent academic performance. She also congratulated the faculty of sciences for continuously grooming budding young science scholars for performing excellently at academics as many others have been placed in the top positions in the university merit list.
