Ludhiana: University of Asia, Pyongyang (North Korea) has honoured Dr. Arvinder Singh, Principal of Gujranwala Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Ludhiana. The University of Asia has conferred upon him Honarary D.Lit Degree in the Award Ceremony Programme organized by their Regional Research Centre at Kathmandu (Nepal) on 8th October by keeping in view his outstanding contribution in the field of academics and research. Dr.Arvinder Singh expressed his pleasure and delight on this achievement. He dedicated his achievement to S. G. S. Narula, President GKEC, Dr. S. P. Singh, Former Vice Chancellor; GNDU, Amritsar, Prof. P. S. Kapur, Former Pro-Vice Chancellor, GNDU, Amritsar and His Ph. D guide Dr. Jagroop Kaur, Dean, Social Sciences, Punjabi University, Patiala for continuously encouraging him to pursue the academic interests. He also said that due to their able guidance and professional approach, this achievement could be possible. Dr. Arvinder Singh further elaborated that he has written seven books and seventy five research papers on various themes related with Sikhism, national and international politics, and currently he is working on book related with the Guru Nanak’s vision and teachings, which would be dedicated to 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and will be released very soon.
