Gathering during `kavi darvar' held at Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo on Tuesday.

Talwandi Sabo, March 4, 2014: University College of Bassic sciences and Humanities of Guru Kashi University,Talwandi sabo organised a kavi darbaar in the camps. Department of Punjabi devoted this kavi darbaar to the `maat bhasha divas’ (Mother Tongue Day).
Prof. Gurbhajan Singh Gill, Director(Planning and Development) of GKU presided over the function. The main aim of this programme was to develop writing and poetic attitude among   the students of literature.
Students of M.Phill, M.A, B.ed, B.A & ETT   from   colleges participated with their own creations of poetry, to spread awareness and to root out social evils from the society.  Students also presented few poems for the betterment of Environment.
Prof Gurbhajan Singh Gill in his presidential address stated for culture & literature that for the betterment of society & Humanity we should take support from our rich culture and literature.
Dean Basic sciences of GKU Dr. A.K. Kansal suggested the students to write more and more for improvement in their writing skills.
