Kanya Maha Vidyalaya declared its 1st result under autonomy

Jalandhar, January 17, 2019: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya-the Heritage and Autonomous Institution, Jalandhar declared its 1st result under autonomy. The declaration of the result of MA Fine Arts Sem I was a historical moment in the annals of KMV history. Gurdeep Kaur stood first by scoring 314 marks and Kirti bagged second position by scoring 306 marks out of 400. Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the students on their huge success and averred that the declaration of timely results under autonomy is for the great benefit for the students. She maintained that the degrees will be awarded by Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. Under autonomy many examination reforms have also been done. The examination team has made relentless endeavours for the smooth functioning of the examination branch, immaculate conduct of the exams and timely declaration of results. She further averred that initiating a change is indeed a challenge, KMV has again made a history by adopting the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead to enrich the lives and dreams of young generation and achieving the proud status of First Women Autonomous College of Punjab. Under autonomous system in the session 2018-19 the college is running 69 programmes out of which 46 are under Continuous Evaluation System, 16 are under Credit Based Continuous Evaluation Grading System and 9 Certificate Courses. For secrecy purpose and smooth conduct of examination, the panel of examiners was selected from other colleges outside Jalandhar. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated COE Ms. Hardeep Kaur and her team comprising Ms. Veena Deepak, Dr. Sangeeta Prashar, Mr. Munish etc. for their hard work. Madam Principal also lauded the faculty of Department of Fine Arts headed by Mr Yogeshwar for the excellent results.
