Just a Minute Competition In DIPS Gilzian

Jalandhar, July 21, 2016: ‘Just a Minute’ activity was held at DIPS Gilzian. It was an inter class activity held for classes I-X. Activity took place under the observation of activity in-charge Ms.Mandeep Kaur and under the supervision of principal mam Ms.Rekha Nayyar.Class in-charges acted as judges. Students were given tasks and games e.g to skip a rope, write names of objects, lit the candles, lemon race etc which were to be completed by them in one minute. All the students greatly enjoyed the activity and were highly enthusiastic to take part in it. They showcased their talent in the gives tasks. Main motive behind this activity was to polish the competitive skills and to enhance sportsman spirit in them.
Winners were:
Class I – Mannatdeep Kaur and Sania got first and second position respectively .
Class II – Jasmeet Kaur and Navdeep Singh got first and second position respectively.
Class III – Arshvir Singh and Ramandeep Singh got first and second position respectively.
Class IV – Ronit Kumar and Prabhjot Kaur got first and second position respectively.
Class V – Arshpreet Singh and Prabhjot singh got first and second position respectively.
Class VI – Komalpreet Kaur and Harleen Kaur got first and second position respectively.
Class VII – Amandeep Kaur and Akashdeep Singh got first and second position respectively.
Class VIII – Manpreet Kaur and Sarabjot Singh got first and second position respectively.
Class IX - Gurleen Kaur and Karandeep Singh got first and second position respectively.
Class X – Gurpreet singh and Mehakpreet Kaur got first and second position respectively.
In the end Principal Mrs. Rekha Nayyar congratulated the winner as well as winners for their efforts and wished them luck for future endeavours as well.
Chairman of DIPS Institutions S. Gurbachan Singh also sent his best wishes to the students.
