John Webb, Vice-President - International Relations at University of Angers, France during his visit to PCTE, Ludhiana on Friday.

Ludhiana, January 8, 2016: Mr John Webb, Vice President – International Relations at University of Angers, France visited PCTE and interacted with the students on how international routes, trade etc developed between Europe and America. He discussed about Europe's influence in the growth and development of The United States of America. He dwelled upon how the European Nations like Spain, France, Britain and Portugal furthered US economic, political and business interest by using powerful sea faring fleets. He also shed light on chronological happenings of the events from early 16th century to the 18th century. Mr. Webb explicitly elucidated to the students centuries of development of USA as a British Royal King extension and how trade was developed and affected. He then later drew them through the road of independence and its further influence on the world.
Mr. Webb was accompanied by Ms. Catherine Crapsky, Vice – Dean International Relations. The two universities have exchanged students and faculty for the past four years. After attending the session, Ramandeep Kaur, Student of MBA, said “We have numerous guest lectures and it is always knowledgeable to have guest lectures from foreign faculty”, she further added, “they give us immense information about the International affairs and about the happenings around the world”.
Ms. Harpreet K Kang, Dean International Affairs, after giving a warm farewel to Mr. Webb and Ms. Catherine, said It was wonderful to have them here. PCTE has fifteen International MoUs signed with leading institutes in France, Poland, Lithuania, UK, Romania, Africa , Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Pakistan. She further added that there are 230 students from 30 countries studying at PCTE.  She also added that all businesses have to think global and it is very important for the the students and faculty to have global orientation to face the challenges of complex global business environment.
