Jalandhar, October 5, 2015: Noted Punjabi actor Jassi Gill today interacted with students in Lyallpur Khalsa College and entertained them with his hit songs, particularly those of his forthcoming film Dildaariyan. Gill had come to the College along with his co-artist Babbal Rai for promotion of this film. Speaking on the occasion the college Principal Dr.GS Samra said that cinema had a great influence on young minds and it was imperative to produce movies strengthening cultural and moral values of our society. He also said that Punjabi cinema in recent years had witnessed a revival which was a positive change as far as the presentation and propagation of Punjabi cultural heritage was concerned. The stage on the occasion was conducted by Dr. Rashpal Singh, Dean Cultural Activities of the college. The occasion was witnessed by a large number of students and staff.
