Jalandhar, September 8, 2013: Shree Geeta Jyanti Mahautsav Committee on Sunday honored the eminent citizens, politicians, social activists, and the organisations who participated on the eve of Shoba Yatra organised by Shree Geeta Jyanti Mahautsav Committee and arranged langars at different places.
Speaking on the occasion, the committee’s founder and chairman Pt. Kewal Krishan Sharma spoke about the teachings of Bhagawad Geeta.
The committee’s president Ravi Shankar Sharma emphasised that people should follow the ideology of Bhagwad Geeta. He added a great stress has been laid on karma in Bhagawad Geeta.
BJP national executive member Manoranjan Kalia quoted few lines from Bhagawad Geeta and narrated them thoroughly.
