Ivy World School Hosts Mock Parliament

Jalandhar, September 3, 2015: Future politicians of the world came together to host a Mock Parliament at Ivy World School as part of the hands down experience required to live a full fledged, happy life. Students from grade 7 to grade 9 came together and enacted the proceedings of the Indian Parliament as the opposition and the ruling party had a heated debate about the escalating prices of daily use items during a question hour. The proceeding were lively and engrossing as the students got first hand experience of the running of the country. It was an exemplary example of the requirement of understanding the way decisions are taken for the betterment of the country and policy decisions for the bills that are brought into being. The principal, Mrs S.Chauhan attended the session and took interest in the proceedings as the speaker maneuvered the house through a reasonably smooth question hour.
