Airstrike targeting Pakistan Taliban in response to school massacre was continued even today (December 20, 2014).

As per the available information many more Pakistan Taliban fighters and commanders were killed today.

This aggressive action is being taken as a repercussion to Tuesday’s tragic, unexpected and barbaric school massacre in Peshawar (Pakistan). A total 148 teachers and students were killed in this terrorist attack.

The whole world had shaken badly after listening and reading about the massacre of innocent schoolchildren and teachers.

The photographs related to the tragic incident appearing in the media had virtually shaken hearts of people across the world.

Schoolchildren and others across the globe had shown strength to condemn the incident and initiate immediate action against terrorists. Prayers for those killed in the massacre were held across the world.

In India, school students and others had taken out peaceful processions carrying candles lit in their hands, as mark of sympathies with these massacred in the terrorists act.

Finally, the Pakistan government was compelled to take action and crush all the terrorists behind the Peshawar massacre. At least five militants were killed today, these included key regional commanders.

It is appreciable that Pakistan has launched a campaign against terrorism. It is high time that Pakistan should continue its ongoing campaign against terrorists.

Pakistan must understand that terrorism does not have any religion. Therefore, no laxity should be shown to crush terrorism.

At the same time, Pakistan must also change policies for its neighbouring countries for ensuring peace and terrorism-free environment. It should stop following dual policy for tackling menace of terrorism in and outside Pakistan.

The dual policy of Pakistan government is evident from the fact that recently bail has been granted to Laskar-e-Toiba commander Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi by a Pakistan court. Zakiur was a key planner of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.  India on Friday strongly reacted to it. As per the media reports appearing in the media today, Parliament on Friday has expressed concern at the delay in prosecuting the accused and blamed the “apathetic” attitude of the Pakistan government that resulted in the court grating the bail to Laskar-e-Toiba commander Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi.
