IT Bonanza 2016 held at B.D.Arya Girls College

Jalandhar, March 5, 2016: Computer Science Department of B.D.Arya Girls College and PCPA organized IT Bonanza 2016 in which various inter college competitions were held. Mrs.Sharuti Shukla, Deputy Director State Council for Educational Research & Training, State Co- Ordinator & Guidance Councellor was the Chief Guest & Mr.Rachit Garg President Progressive Computer Professional Association was the guest of Honour. the programmer began with lighting of the lamp. the various competition held were paper presentation Ad-Mad-Show, Choreo graphy, Explore the net, IT Poster Making, Software Showcase & Website development. Approximately, 25 colleges participated in this event. Nearly about 150 students participated in the these various events. the judge were also honoured . at the valedictory function Prof. (Dr. ) Rajinder Singh Virk, HOD Compt. Sc. Dept. GNDU , Amritsar was the Chief Guest. At the end, the prize winners were felicitated with certificates and trophies. while addressing the students both the dignitaries emphasijed the impact of technology in today’s world. Principal Dr. (Mrs. ) Sarita Verma welcomed & Thanked the guests and the students. she congratulated the compt. Sc. Dept. and addressed the students by telling the advantages of technology. in case the technology is used for social welfare, it will be a blessing for all. she inspired the students to participate more in such events. the in charges of this event were Mrs. Uminder Kaur , HOD, Compt.
